Now that gsync is supported on any monitor it doesn’t really matter... although having a monitor the the gsync scaler would be nice

epic_ziver_D  Your right. Nvidia made g-sync monitors pointless! I guess Thanks Nvidia lol   check our my new article about that https://www.massdrop.com/talk/21311/its-hard-to-believe-but-its-true-free-sync-monitors-work-with-n-vidia-cards

djmockbaI just picked up the MSI 27 MPG27CQ, and MSI site shows how to use G sync with it. with all of the MSI GeForce cards, it is only fitting that they support Gsync.

BarnapkinNice choice. I was also considering this model but decided to go with 32 inch and found a LG 32GK650F on sale at Microcenter for 350 and pooled the trigger. Even tho they also had MSI Optix MAG341CQ for 389.99 after 10 dollar mail-in rebate. Its a 1440p 100Hz 34 inch. I had Ultrawide before and this time want to go with dual monitor set up: 32 1440p 144Hz as main for gaming and I think Dell 24 or 25 inch in portrait mode for extra windows and web browsing or video while I’m playing. P.S I set up the LG last night and it’s perfect in size and DPI. I’m very pleased. Also joined the drop for VIVO Dual Arm Computer Monitor Desk Mount. Should arrive in beginning of February. Can’t wait

djmockbaI'm running an older i7 with 1050ti. This monitor is over kill for what I have right now. When I upgrade I won't need another monitor. Was running with the original 23 in monitor, so this seemed like a better upgrade that I would see a difference. A better graphics card on my OE monitor would not have made much difference. 30+ in would be cool, but I don't have the space.

BarnapkinAhh I see. So your future proofed with a nice screen. Monitor is one of the things that don’t need to be replaced for years. Good choice in many ways. And about 27 vs 32, bigger is not better! It just works for me as I have lots of space and like to sit back in my chair. 27 inch has better DPI at 1440p and looks sharper but I think need to be kept close to user.

djmockbaI got the MPG over MAG because of reviews and increased brightness density. Amazing how folks on forums can be if you don't mention that you don't have the latest mega rig. Ok, I have a 1050ti. It is not an 1080ti, and I know the 1050 is average. That will change to a 140 Hz card some time. I play only world of tanks and world of warships. I currently get 60-80 fps with max settings on every graphic setting. Step 1 know your needs, and work towards that end.

djmockbaI keep my money for this gem, mate: https://pcmonitors.info/lg/lg-27gl850-160hz-wqhd-nano-ips-model-with-adaptive-sync/ Unfortunately it's "only" "G-sync compatible" (plus LFC, so it should work smooth even well below 48 fps), but all specs looks terrific.
