Is Drop no longer finding deals on other types of items?
Has drop just narrowed focus on audiophile and keyboard things or is the site still open to things like EDC items, batteries, socks, hats, etc? Reason being: really would like to find a deal on some high end LED car headlight bulbs, as well as some injinji toe socks so I can buy those in bulk. I imagine other folks have other wants and needs as well.

Now that I have your attention: “Viagra” (only joking)… Hello, and, “thankyou”. Thankyou for your inquiry,.. your time,.. and (hopefully) your further contemplation…. This isn’t just some ‘environmental post’, and it will list a few things that I am going to do, in the short term, that we all want / need, so is probably worth reading even if you are not altruistically minded. So let me pitch three things, first and foremost. One I can deliver, one I will try to deliver, and one I am going to do anyway, and you might just ‘want to know about it’. The first one: I’d like to kickstart a multi-operating system GUI (graphical user interface) overlay, that simplifies using any tech device, and follows you (if you so wish) to other platforms, allowing seamlessly easy usability of all modern tech devices. big tricky sentence, basically saying I’m going to put a ‘manga character’ (or ‘multiple other’ mascots) that can be ‘swiped in’ from the edge of the screen that will help a user...

How do I stop renewal of keyboard club?
Hi there, I've been a member of the keyboard club for the past year, I'm afraid that in the next 24h the Keyboard Club will renew automatically. I have checked on my profile but couldn't find anywhere a way to stop it. Did i miss it ? Will it renew automatically ? TIA Mauringhio

I miss Massdrop
Is it just me or was this place much better when it was Massdrop? Instead of expensive collaborations, it was all about finding good deals that got better with more participation. Anyone know if this place will ever revert to those times or if there are any other sites that might be doing what this site stopped doing?

Do products in the same order ship together if they have different shipping estimates?
I bought an order that consisted of products that were ready to ship on Feb 13 and March 29. Will they ship all together on March 29 or will they be split and the orders that are ready to ship earlier ship on Feb 13?

USB-C Port glitchy AF on my Drop SHIFT, arrrrgh help
As above, my keyboard routinely drops connection with my computer; I've tried three different computers, they're not the issue. It resolves itself after being "hard reset" (unplugged), but it's driving me insane because obviously it acts up more when I need it most. All drivers seem to be up to date, any thoughts? (I've also changed the cable, please ppl)

One I can deliver, one I will try to deliver, and one I am going to do anyway, and you might just ‘want to know about it’.
The first one: I’d like to kickstart a multi-operating system GUI (graphical user interface) overlay, that simplifies using any tech device, and follows you (if you so wish) to other platforms, allowing seamlessly easy usability of all modern tech devices. big tricky sentence, basically saying I’m going to put a ‘manga character’ (or ‘multiple other’ mascots) that can be ‘swiped in’ from the edge of the screen that will help a user complete basic and ‘tricky’ tasks, such as copying files or doing network tasks etc.. The idea is that there is only a few hundred total commands or ‘needs’ from an end user when engaging with technology. The interfaces keep changing up, and certainly, between platforms, things are ‘very different’; so anything that can give a user consistent familiarity over a range of platforms, will aid ‘making technology accessible’. There is ‘a lot more’ to the pitch, so, if interested, watch this space! -=future link to relevant page goes here=- The second one: A few pundits in the audiofile community seem to want Drop to make a DAP I would like to pitch to FiiO to custom a part and launch it HERE for the DROP community. the ideas presently are; either a dedicated transport (no DAC chips / amp part), built for audio perfection at a low price point, OR a ‘tuned’ DAP (likely altering something from their present range) where all design considerations are made based on ‘ultimate sound quality’ rather than Spec sheet tailoring’ (that often gets in the way of ‘ultimate audio quality’) I don’t want to get caught up in arguments with science guy audio types; but needless to say to ‘those in the know’ audio kit sounds better when built to make ‘music’. Some audio companies that put ‘music first’ (rather than spec sheet measurements that are 1% better than the competition), find that their first iteration of a design “benchmarks ‘really well’, but ‘sounds poor’!”. The more they tune the part towards absolute musicality, the mre they have to ease up the ‘spec sheet figures’ from absolute ‘best’ values… I understand not everyone will like the premise, or might like to be derisive of such a notion, but lets just acknowledge in a world as large as ours, differing products may do well in the market and not everyone needs to think the way ‘we’ do. The third aspect of this post, and the main reason it exists (in my eyes), is the ‘save the world’ aspect, given in the heading..(not a click bait title I promise) I am presently going ‘all in’ attempting to contact members of parliament, embassy officials, heads of industry and ‘altruistic’ sorts… I have a proposition, that could easily be rolled out into reality. It does require commitment on my part to make this happen, and then it should just ‘snowball on’ ( I hope that is the appropriate imagery of something that starts small and then just multiplies outwards/upwards in size… ; comments to improve this metaphor greatly encouraged, all feedback considered, AND ‘happy to replace’ the text in this ‘version 1’ document. On the topic of the third point ‘saving the world’; I am pretty motivated to get this going, so much so that, on top of emails to appropriate political parties (which should be ‘all of them’, really), I have been making youtube clips to ‘get the word out there/the world up to speed’. I presently haven’t given ‘a full pitch’. Some framework has been sent to government, and, daily, I post a ‘bit more’ whilst I establish some fundamental points required to be understood when transitioning to the paradigm shift that will follow. These videos are ‘very low quality’ presently (not edited, not scripted, and therefore ‘not’ really worth watching (for the masses), but for anyone who is ‘super interested’ they are going up daily, and today is ‘week one’ anniversary’. In a week I have ‘made friends with the camera’ (I am terrified of public speaking), and the videos start getting noticably better, pretty much every second day… Today as a feedback test to myself, I thought I would try an unscripted video on a subject I am familiar with, to learn how I can present information that I am intimately familiar with and that is comfortable to my fields of expertise. (I have been in game development and ‘technology’ for many decades) -=that video is probably twice as long as it needs to be, and whilst filled with ‘further ancillary information’, I recognise that I might not be a witty entertainer; I will modulate future posts to suit my actual talents=- _______________________________________________________________________________________ So regarding ‘saving the world’; I did try an earlier video along those lines, and wanted to use the drop community to launch (Drop being ‘one of the best and healthy bastions’ the internet has, and I say this as a bulletin board Sysop from the days before the internet was ‘inter’connected…) When a toxic community member attacked me (for my philanthropic efforts), I simply pulled the post/thread, and my videos, and just ‘hid in my shell’; my reasoning was ‘my family do not need this sort of energy’. So only “Rays of sunshine” regarding this point please… Now as awkward as I feel on camera, I have been pushing ahead, daily, on this front. Due to my videos being acknowledgeably ‘poor’, I haven’t promoted them.. Basically waiting until I get the ‘show on the road’. On average I have had ~twenty hours sleep, this week, and so each day I get up, like today, in the ‘wee hours of the morning’, and create content. Todays posts are mostly about technology, but my infrastructure gets better and more refined. My laptop is an Intel Core design (2000s?) and doesn’t have the processing power for editing etc.. (My multiple x99 builds are ‘sans graphics cards’ and cannot be used). I have an iPad and it is very old. I probably SHOULDN’T have put iOS 15 on it last week. It presently isn’t trustworthy to ‘write an email’ (I have lost ‘big ones’ mid composition). Getting the media online isn’t the issue.. doing so professionally is.. Presently I have a Patreon and a Paypal donate button associated with the channel, just so I can be ‘independant’. If anyone actually supports me, ALL efforts ramp up 100%,.. or, I operate 100% ‘better’. Whether this is having a basic script (yes), a basic edit (yes), and some basic tools (yes) to make everything more interesting and engaging, OR whether this is having help from friends; it will probably be the best of both, and better for the combined effort.. I may give up coffee consumption for the better focus and clarity (after a few grumpy days ‘no doubt’) whitedragem is me; (Rene to friends) Todays rant is relating to the gaming industry and gaming platforms. (and which ones are ethical to own and place in our homes) By all means ‘get onboard’.. if that means seeing what I am about, then, please do..
