AsheikmOne of those "it's whatever time I say it is" watches, right?

RayFHa! pretty much. The Miyota quartz movement does keep accurate time, but the dial layout and needle make it very difficult to accurately read it within the 5 minute indices. It's weird. I know the watch is showing the correct time, but I find myself looking for a another source to get down to the exact minute/second. Do I need to know the time that accurately? sometime Yes, and sometimes No. I am in meetings almost everyday that are conducted over the internet. Given that they are timed by digital clocks, it is important that I can track my time accurately; to not be late and waste other people's time. For a leisurely appointment, however, time is more flexible.

That's gorgeous!
Is there a story behind that dial?

Vintage1982BenzThey have a speil about the four elemnts (fire, earth, water, air) and a different approach to timekeping; but I don't really buy into it. However, I did buy this piece for the dial. Specifically the geometric patern in the center. As a kid, I kept myself entertained with a pencil compass and paper. I loved drawing geometric shapes and the compass made it possible to draw pecise intersecting arcs and circles. Thereby procucing patterns like the one on this dial. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gustave-et-cie/much-more-than-a-watcha-new-approach-of-life-made
