I didn't realize that people collected pens! But I guess people collect everything! At first glance I thought they were chopsticks!

bigred25929 Chopsticks? That could become my next passion! I started collecting old fountain pens about twenty years ago. The stuff manufactured in the 40s and 50's (Parker and Sheaffer) were made so well that it didn't take much to get them back into shape and writing again. I was going to school at the time and used them for taking notes in class--and that's the thing, you have to have a use and purpose for them to really enjoy the "sport". I suppose that's true of most collectables. One thing's for sure these days--I do my best to avoid eBay at all costs. That way madness lies!

RayFI don't collect, but I've randomly found a collection of bic pens in my junk drawer! Not sure if that counts though!
