The 'Show My Purchases' is the only thing I do not have displayed on my profile. The only way I would do this is if there was the ability to selectively select which drops I have purchased.

abelaGreat suggestion.
I'd feel comfortable displaying drops that I have purchased and liked enough to recommend to others.

abelaGood idea,
i don't mind at all here at MD, but i would never ever make all of my Amazon purchases public as example. But i understand people not wanting that, the reason is privacy and "datamining" for profiles of users by anyone having access to MD like all of us here.
Options are always good to have!

MakamiThat's a difference I understand and agree with. I know that on MD, my purchases would be looked at by fellow enthusiasts, whereas on Amazon, it's the whole world.
Although I am less wary of datamining; if you have a Facebook page, or a Gmail or Yahoo account, you already are the subject of massive datamining... Mining your drops here on MD would be - pardon the pun! - a drop in the ocean!

BobrazHello Bobraz, ty for your answer. I've none of those and no plans to do so, but i understand that i'm kind of a relic of the past. I'm not against those kind of communities/services at all, but for me the balance isn't given regarding privacy, data ... . I'm not wearing tinfoil, either, but the majority of people i know are way to loose (don't know a better word at the moment) careless might fit better with their data.
The drop in the ocean might be a fine analogy, but there will always be the final drop, that is the one to much, hard to predict which one it may be. Hope you get my point :)
Have a nice weekend
