Noticing in some of the pictures that the USB cable is being propped up, so will the base be heavy enough so that the weight of the cable won't cause the macropad to pivot up or flop around in general?

I have one of the first run versions and replaced the cable with a glorious ascended cable because I did find that the included cable would lift that version keyboard depending on desk placement. The softer stringy cable gives me more flexibility though, so I likely would have replaced the included cable anyway. Additionally, I replaced the included small dot stick on feet with two large thicker black stick-on pads to give the keyboard more height, but that is a personal thing. I have been using it for screen shot/quick save/quick load since I received it. I have also ordered one of these new ones with the plan to replace the included cable with a soft cable and set it up with some specific keys for online games.
The base is heavy enough and will not move - shouldn't be a concern unless someone uses an absurdly stiff/heavy cable. To clarify, which photo are you seeing the cable propped up in? Closest I can see is Photo 5, which is a coiled cable.

I also see rubber padding on the bottom in one of the pics. So this should help it from moving around.
