I missed them for 379 but I really want a pair how do you like them so far?

rbivgq1734So far, I've enjoy them a lot. They are my second-ever planar magnetic headphone, and I suspect I'll be going higher end into planars down the line because I really like the characteristic soft low end and plucky mids. Very easy to listen to for long durations. My first set of planars was the Fostex T50RP mk3, which I fiddled with endlessly but could not get a pleasing or non fatiguing sound from. These are a massive step up up. Comfort is excellent, too because of the light weight and tall earcups. Could use a little more width on the earcups for me (very large ears) but much larger than most. Good soundstage for closed back, which makes them pretty good for gaming. I think at the 379 sale price, they're a good addition as an entry level planar. Even 479 if you're into the planar sound with a dry, flattish Dan Clark flavor, which I enjoy.

QuadsThank you very much for getting back to me. I only have one pair of planars myself so far the Hifiman Deva Pro and I like them very much. The sound signature is far different than my Focal Elegias which I also enjoy but with other genres. With my work and situation at home I get the most use from my closed backs so I want to stay that route. The Dan Clarks are next on my list but I had to get the Meze 99s for 200 and I also just bought the Hifiman R9Ds as well. How about the cable for the Dan Clarks have you got an upgrade cable? It looks very thick and not easy to use just from what I can see.
