Lets make this happen, a baby Orpheus for the modern audiophile world. We have the Sennheiser HE 1, but no other electrostatic from the company for the audiophile that's looking for the Sennheiser sound at an (way more) accesible price. The system should be based on the HE 60 project, an electrostatic with price-consciousness in mind, as the then HE 90 (Orpheus) was too expensive just as the HE 1 is actually. And just like the 600 series it should have a good build quality but using the famous plastic that Sennheiser is known for, which we still have from the 580 Precision and it is still rock solid. And most importantly, great sound quality paired with an energizer that can deliver (more than) enough power to drive the electrostatic driver. I would suggest the name to be HE 0X (Zero X), as it's a baby HE 1 and an 'X' has always trailed on Massdrop x Sennheiser collaborations. I had previously seen that Will from Collaborations said they had already pitched Sennheiser for the HE X0,...
Massdrop x HIFIMAN HE4XX Planar Magnetic Headphones issue with right ear peice
i have had hifiman he4xx headphones for about a month that i got from massdrop.
Recently i quickly took the wires out of the left/right ear pieces (which is fine to do on these) as the right one was sticking out a little.
When i tried to place the right one back in it does not stay, there is a small metal ring that comes out but it is different to the one on the left earpiece which plugs in perfectly. This has caused it to always fall out and there is no sound coming out of the right ear.
there is no way a part fell out as i have looked everywhere in the place it happened.
anyone know what do to? thanks

I'm mainly a gamer and after much consideration I've decided I want to replace my soundblasterx g5. I've had many complaints of keyboard noise while playing and have tried everything I can think of to minimize/negate it but no no avail. As part of my search I found some noise reduction features in the soundblasterx g6 but if I'm going to be spending $150 for one I figured I might as well ask around to see if a better solution could be found for around the same price. I would prefer an all in one solution if possible to pair with my Sennheiser GSP600 at least until I'm ready for an upgrade there as well. Any recommendations are welcome but please provide a case as to why it's better, I would like to use this as a chance to learn more about the audiophile space and what makes a particular solution better.
Edit: I should have mentioned that I've noticed that my friends are able to hear things in games that I can not and I suspect this is due to some sort of processing in my g5. Any...
So after weeks of research, I've decided that I'll get the Toppings D50s DAC with a SP200 AAA-888 amp. I'm pretty sure I want to pair them well a pair of DT1990s, but I'm not entirely sure what other options would be recommended at that price range.
I do mix and master music, but that will be secondary to casual listening since I have good speakers. So I'm basically looking for something that will be nice for causal listening to "mostly" bass heavy music and rarely mixing.
The Dt1990's seemed to fit that description, but I want to know some other recommendations. Know that this is my first hi-fi headphone purchase and I haven't tried anything myself personally and don't really have the ability to.
