Drop Keyboard Club Membership Perks

more_vert
Hey everyone!  There’s a lot going on in the Drop Keyboard Club that you might not be aware of if you’re not a member. I’d like to share some of the latest happenings here to give everyone an idea of what all is included in the membership, in addition to the items explicitly laid out on the Keyboard Club info page.  Also, regardless of your membership status, if you have any ideas for additional ways that we can bring value to the membership, please share those here! The club is by no means in a finalized state - we are always looking for ways to improve.  Forever
Monthly Coupon Lottery - Every month, DKC members roll a new monthly coupon valued between $20 and $100, which can be redeemed for a discount toward any keyboard-related product. This coupon discounts its full value when used on an order totaling $100 or more, or is scaled as a percentage discount on smaller orders ($20 coupon becomes 20% off an order below $100). Also do note that this discount is activated as a coupon in our store system, so cannot be stacked with other coupon codes (notably the BOGO sales) - it can be stacked with reward credits as those are activated differently. Extra Drop Rewards Credits - DKC members receive 5% back as Drop Rewards Credits vs the normal 3% for regular users. You can read more about Drop Rewards here. July
Raffle - Choice of Dwarf Factory Gnarly Drakon Artisan Keycap OR Dwarf Factory Terrarium Artisan Keycap OR ZMKC Pocket Game Console Artisan Keycap

Since it seems like the glory days of free shipping at $100 is over, might I suggest that DKC members continue to get that perk at $100 instead of the new $125?
Great suggestion, I'll propose that and see what we can do :)
When does the raffle usually occur?
Should be on the 1st of every month (first business day technically). I missed it yesterday but it is coming today!
Where can I find the "promo heads up" at? I didn't get an email or anything about that...
Yea I just checked my email settings and somehow all of the options were turned off. Don't know how that happened because I was getting emails in May then it just stopped out of nowhere. Anyways, it should work now I guess. Thanks!
Whew, good to hear it was a simple fix. :) If you don't receive an email at the end of this month, let me know!
I think it is important to state that the monthly DKC coupon does not stack with other promotions.
Yes - great point.

Upgraded my Drop Alt with a cheap EVGA Z15
When I saw the hotswappable EVGA Z15 keyboard was only 40 bucks and the same price as buying just the KAILH Bronze switches I wanted to try in my Drop Alt, I went ahead and bought it from Amazon. On prime day it was even cheaper at only 35 bucks, I can't say I regret paying the extra 5 for the value I got out of it though. I basically got a whole spare keyboard, keycaps, 8 free speed silvers, a switch and keycap puller, all for the same price as 110 Kailh Bronze switches I was already doing to buy. I used the keyboard for a few days before popping the switches out, and found the stabilizers on the spacebar to be much nicer than the ones in my 2 year old Alt (I understand Newer drop alts have a better stabs included). Out of curiosity I looked at the stabs in the Z15 and found them to be a match for the drop alt, and swapped them over, I didnt even have to unscrew anything, just popped them out with the tabs. My spacebar feels so much nicer now, and I didn't have to pay another 25...

Drop Control Connection Issue
When I plug the keyboard into a computer, it usually takes anywhere between 10 to 30 seconds before the LED’s power on and my inputs go through. Is there any reason for this? Thanks!
