Someone Help me Out...Wrong is Wrong Right is Right.

Community, I reach out to you for justice. I received my $20 Keyboard Club discount code for July and I was excited. I saw some keycaps I wanted and thought, PERFECT. The Keycaps were about $30. Actually, I just had a large purchase the week before, so using the coupon on these keycaps was a big help. When I checked out, I noticed I was only getting a little over $5.00 discount from using my code. I kept thinking this is probably a huge mistake and Drop will make it right. In fact, I have had a positive 100% experience with Drop's support desk in the past. I purchase the keycaps and promptly wrote the help desk. I explained what had happened and now I am pasting the response from the drop Community help desk: ..."Unfortunately, it may appear that the information may not have been updated since allowing members to use the discounts on orders under $100. The old way the system worked would require you to place an order for $100 to allow the discount to apply to the order. However, since we have updated the club and we now allow for it to be used on orders under $100. The coupon is now Percentage based up to $100.00 which allows members to use their discounts without having to spend the minimum of the $100." Of course, I was thinking that the system had an error and I should have received the $20 off. However, what was happening is that you FORFEIT the remaining amount of your coupon if you purchase something under $100. So, in this case, according to Drop, I used $5 dollars of my $20 coupon on one item and now my ENTIRE coupon is redeemed...USED...can't be used for the remainder of the coupon that is left. I was blown away. I spend hundreds of dollars with Drop and this is the first time I ever heard that my coupon would be "redeemed" if Drop uses just a percentage of the coupon. And then Drop said the very thing that just pisses you off as a customer: "...this information is readily available to you within our Help Center that you may also view below." And then he recommends I read up on their policy regarding this coupon. I promptly wrote back and stated, "The help center is when you need help on a subject and I did not need help. Why would I read about it?" I then asked for my coupon back. He stated that my item was already shipping and he could not give it back to me. I have not received the item I "Forfeited my $20" coupon over. I am writing him back (is there someone else???) and I will return the damn item to get my $20 back. I also cancelled the club, as it is financially no good if they are not honoring their $20 coupons. I will also cancel my purchases in which I am waiting months for the items. I am new to the club. Had no idea there was a $100 minimum on getting the $20. I understand about rules and that we should follow them. It would have been nice to have some explanation telling me I am purchasing an item below $100 and I would forfeit my coupon. We have notices for everything else. I did ask for a $15 dollar coupon and use it on something over $100 and that was met with a roadblock. Drop is willing to fall on their sword for $15.00. If you have a solution for me, I am all ears. I understand the solution is for me to learn a lesson in that I should have read the fine print in some hidden help center about a subject I did not know I needed help about. Thank you for reading this far. Rhonda
