GECKOTA E-01

As a fan of the Explorer I, Black Bay 36 and Alpinist......I was pleased to find this little Geckota E-01. The specs are pretty impressive - 36.5mm dia, 11.95mm thick, curved edge sapphire crystal and ETA 2824-2 movement, beating away at 28,800 VPH. I have never owned a Geckota watch or strap, but at $480-ish, I might consider adding one to my collection, as these are truly limited to 100 pieces per dial color - blue and black. What do you think?

Love the look and size of these. I would rock one in a minute but currently have my sights set on a Tudor Heritage 36.

Omegaman68The Tudor HBB 36 is a great watch, especially if you are into the older "big is not better" case sizes. Hope you get a good deal on one.

ColorBlindYes, I have been trending down in watch size this past year. My 42-44mm divers haven’t felt as comfortable lately. Been wearing some of vintage pieces more often. Was considering the ExplorerI when I took a shine to the HBB36. Cheapest I have seen it new so far is $1925. Which I think is pretty good.
