Actually you can already see the foam rolling issue on the left cup - there's a bulge near the seam, that's the foam rolling out of place. I don't recommend any Aeon models anymore because of this issue. Hopefully it's not permanent for you. I'm on my 3rd set of pads, and it's an unacceptable issue for luxury price point headphones.

dm94aq7I thought it was just some flaw in the pads themselves. How long do the pads usually last? Thanks for information.

bringtequilaI've had two sets of stock pads, and a set of pads from Dekoni. For me the permanent deformation set in within a few weeks on all of the pads. You may have a different experience. If your pads do have permanent deformations because of the foam, it's a warranty issue and you can contact Dan Clark Audio for a free replacement. The Dekoni pads are a scam because they make you return the old ones and pay for return shipping yourself. Maybe you'll get lucky and have no issues but lots of people have had issues with the pads. Dan has a video about how to try to roll the foam back into place which some users claim they have to do before every listening session. It's a joke for a $500 headphone.
