Man, your Aeons turned out gorgeous! Especially with this cable. I have a question: did you have to take apart the headphones to paint the parts? And if so, how difficult was it to do? (I'm worried about the possibility of damaging the driver)

XenineYeah i did take them apart it is super easy the build quality and also them being hand build also makes it super easy. the pads are stuck on with 3m tape you can pull that off slowly and use it again if you dont get it dirty. then its all Torx 6 screws to take the cups off and then the grills out also but for the grills there is a few daps of glue that softened up a bit by being soaked with isopropyl alcohol. so all no big deal

Why do people keep buying these headphones with such bad pad issues? Look at the right pad, there's a sharp seam right in the middle of the pad where it's supposed to be flat. The foam has rolled out from under the leather. This deformation can be permanent and affects seal and comfort. If you aren't able to roll the foam back into place (which is a hilarious suggestion for a $500 headphone) note that this is a warranty issue and you're eligible for a free pad replacement. But this issue likely affects all Aeon pads across all Aeon models, so it may start again on your next set of pads.

you are clearly dumb and blind the other side of the headphone is pushing into the pad making it bugle slightly it has zero problems it sit flat and soft comfortably on the head.
