I've gone through a bunch of different layouts (full, 75%, 65%, 60%) and can say that I think 60% is the absolute most efficient for me when it comes to typing. However, after getting way too into keycaps and other types of customization, I think the next layout I want to try is the Red Scarf III/RS96 layout, which is basically a 60% with a F-row and numpad mashed together. The main reason I want to try this layout is that I think I could live with a loss in efficiency/ergonomics having my mouse farther to the right in exchange for more keycaps crammed into a board. I think this would be incredible for a uniform R3 SA keyset, like Nuclear Data (:
