I Insist Upon PREMIUM Packaging

I demand PREMIUM packaging for my PREMIUM keycaps. When I receive keycaps in simple, environmentally-friendly, minimalist packaging, it makes me wretch with bilious rage. How dare you, good sirs! This is a slap to the face, and it will not stand! I insist, nay, stipulate that henceforth, any keycaps I buy be ensconced in a diamond-encrusted golden chalice, then draped in velvet, and carried through the streets to me in a litter, attended to by a full military honor guard! And they should be followed by a procession of war elephants, classically-trained dancers, and serenaded by a chorus of the very factory workers who produced the caps. Oh, and some tanks to escort them! Moar tanks = moar PREMIUM. Plastic baggies! Hmph! What am I supposed to do with those - easily recycle them and the tiny box they shipped in?! Did I fall asleep and wake up in the time of Charlemagne?

It really is a bit silly to care so much about the packaging, but I must admit I do value the packaging quality for products that I store in that packaging long-term. The overall experience is improved. I think this is more one of those "nothing else going on so packaging comes up more in discussions" type of things, and it snowballs unnecessarily.
to be fair this is not up to drop this is up to each individual company. On a side note you are buying the product not the packaging so if the product is up to your standards why care for the packaging??

SlateRight, I know SP only ships in bags. And I LIKE that. I get annoyed by the constant whining from people on here about having their caps shipped in bags, like it's akin to being stabbed in the eye. (Those and the Received Faster spam posts are two reasons I barely visit Drop anymore.) The quality is in the caps themselves, not the number of wasteful layers of plastic and cardboard they're nested in like Russian dolls.
I’m not wild about getting premium caps in bags. I feel like it would increase the chances of the caps scuffing/scratching. I think a simple cardboard tray/box package is fine. Not a fan of specifically GMK’s packaging since every one I’ve got has had the caps shifted around in the trays leaving them basically on par with a plastic bag. I did like the trays that I’ve gotten with DROP caps, NK stuff, and the one set I have from KeebMonkey. Funny how the less expensive sets are packed better than one of the most premium options.
