What determines which items have a “permanent” space in your setup? First, it has to have a purpose. I think I prefer to keep my desk minimal because having too many items distract my focus. For something to permanently stay in my setup, it has to be something I frequently use and would otherwise feel annoyed if I didn't have it on my desk! >.< What was the most frivolous addition to your battlestation that you absolutely don’t regret? The keebmonkey display bar underneath my monitor is very very nice for displaying the time. Yes I understand I can also look at the time at the corner of my screen but showing it bigger is sooo much nicer! Haha. Do you have any favorite desktop items that would surprise your followers? My favourite desk item has got to be something that is not "on my desk" but rather on my floor! It's my foot rest. I'm not that tall so when I sit, my feet hang a bit off the floor. Having the foot rest makes coding/working/studying much more comfortable~ Do you have any cable management secrets to share from your experience perfecting setups? First of all, HAIR TIES. Use them. They're like the better version of zip ties because you can stretch them, you can tie them close and you don't need to cut them just to add or remove cables.
