How do i connect them to a sub properly? 99.5% of 3.5 to RCA cables i can find are stereo, do i just leave one of the rca cables dangling?

This will depend on the sub. Most will have a stereo line level input. Connect both left and right. The sub should sum both channels internally to create a mono signal for it to use.

jasonpolyMy sub has a single rca in It seems to work good enough just using one of the plugs on the sub side, but im not sure if it would sound wierd with tracks that have bass specific to left/right or something
