Yep there is a protective coating on the top layer to help lessen the effect of UV. Know that over enough period of exposure, the Sun always win.

YanboWuFrom what I've searched online and seen, it seems to be ABS > Acrylic & PC > POM in terms of resistance to yellowing. Carbon Fiber is hard to gauge since it's typically black & grey. POM is very difficult to machine without leaving marks or scratches from what I've been told. Acrylic seems mainly to be used with stacked cases, I'm assuming it just lends itself better to that use case. Given this information, would an injection molded case with a mix of both PC & POM yield promising results? Ease of machining of PC with a bit of extra durability from POM?
