Drop x Campfire Audio Darkstar Review

The Darkstar definitely has a a unique sound that has an audiophile sub-bass bias. It is a balanced sound with open sounding mids and well extended treble. There is no mid-bass bloat thanks to Campfire audio delicate sound shaping here. When compared to the CFA Blackstar the Darkstar has deeper reach in the bass and more even sounding mids to treble. The Blackstar now sounds more mid centric with a brighter treble in direct comparison. So I would say that they compliment each other well.

The Darkstar impresses with its unique audiophile sound, featuring deep bass and clear mids that create a balanced listening experience. Unlike the CFA Blackstar, it delivers a more even profile, while the Blackstar shines with a brighter treble. It's like playing Funny Shooter 2 ; each brings its own style to the game, yet they complement each other perfectly.
