Hello everyone and thanks for the positive responses and feedback so far. I would like to get the ball rolling on creating a drop that I think you all might really like, but first let me give you all a backstory.

We have an Alabama style white barbecue sauce that is absolutely delicious. It is a zesty and tangy blend of flavors and is extremely good on chicken, fish, and beef. It smashes taste buds on brisket. It is so unique and in demand that the regional manager for the largest grocery chain in the area (I shall not name them publicly for the safety of us and the other vendors.) wanted as many bottles as we could possibly produce for their "Local Favorites" displays across Eastern Tennessee and Northern Mississippi. Although they really liked our traditional sauce and rub very much, they were already obligated to carry another brand of red/brown barbecue sauce (owned by a good friend of ours), but no one else offered a white barbecue sauce so they wanted it bad. They wanted it bad enough that we produced nearly 80 cases of product up front at their request to be sold and packed with them by a distributor on consignment that they had more or less propped up to carry all the local lines. Needless to say, we were excited and we produced what was asked of us immediately.
Late in 2016 after about 3 to 4 months of sustained distribution throughout 20+ stores across Eastern Tennessee and Northern Mississippi, our distributor ran into financial turmoil and failed to pay his vendors including our company for their goods that had already been purchased by the large retailer. This effectively means that he took payment for goods that had been promised on a consignment without paying the portion owed to the suppliers and many suppliers were stiffed hundreds of thousands of dollars for products they had already produced.
Luckily for us, we were only ahead of production by a few dozen cases (approximately 200 jars) of white sauce that had yet to be delivered to the distributor, and we were only short a few hundred dollars for product already delivered when we learned the news from other vendors who were calling us for information we may have had on our experience.
So, we're trying to recoup some of those expenses and sell about 200 jars or so before August so that they don't expire. We're willing to drop the lot of product to wholesale price to cover the lot of production and reduce the waste of a fine product. That's where you all come in. I don't know much about how it all works. I do know that we have an application in to Woot.com to see if they can help us move some product as well.
You guys help me out with Droppin' these sumbitches and I will make it well worth your time. I am about to add some recipes to the blog and a few more goodies ASAP as we prepare to crowdfund a brand new product line on Indiegogo in coming months.
Thanks,
Lee
