@nmankey Absolutely awesome looking watch strap! I hate to play devil's advocate, but there are two issues I've considered. Firstly, I find that leather tends to stretch quite significantly over time, especially watch straps and belts. Could this affect the practicality of the ruler? Also, that brass knob seems quite large, and while stunning, it doesn't look particularly practical for when one's arms are resting on a table, i.e. when typing or drawing. Will you offer models with more low profile clips? Thanks for posting, and best of luck!

Dapper_RobotUpon initial launch, there was indeed great debate among the community over the "stretch" factor and its effects on longevity. However, most came to acknowledge that the intended use was less about building pianos, and more about being handy on a last minute trip to Home Depot, and that ultimately the amount of stretch over time would be so negligible that it need not bear mind.
The brass stud concern you mention was a topic I'd cleared up earlier in this thread, and included a photo for full effect, so check that out for further clarification. But I can say without a doubt that the stud causes no more interference than any other buckled strap I've worn, and in fact has proven itself to be MORE comfortable in the current configuration. Not sure I've seen any hardware out there that would remain as simple and straightforward for this design as the tried and true screw/stud combo either; And I wouldn't sacrifice functionality for looks any day personally.
That all said, I can happily claim that after a straight month of personal daily wear and abuse that the above points are absolutely non-issues :)
