I have one of Mean Gene Higdon's belts. The model I have is made from Distressed leather with a brushed stainless Ares buckle. I found this belt after buying one of Gene's Hot Tamale Coin Satchels. The belt is made with a 7-8 ounce inner leather layer, a stiffiner, then another 8-9 ounce leather layer. All this, then stitched in heavy weight saddle thread.
I have a rack full of belts ranging from rigger style belts with Cobra and friction buckles, to leather belts designed for the purpose of carrying my firearm, and reload at the least. This belt fills the bill on all counts. The leather eventually conforms to the shape of your body, which equals comfort and stability.
FYI, Mean Gene (Higdon) was a saddle maker in Alaska before using his talents in the making of tactical gear. He founded High Speed Gear International (HSGI) which supplied quality gear to military and tactical teams for many years.
This belt will undoubtedly be handed down to my grandson, who may even hand it down to his grandson; that is how over-built this belt is! Well done, Gene!

Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive?
I would LOVE to have a Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive on one of the most iconic model in Spyderco. Maybe like the super gold steel that drop did with delica. The color on the scale can be the drop color. That will be awesome! Picture is me dragonfly collections in various color and steels

Gerlach Watches
Hey everyone I hope your week is going well. I was wondering if anyone in the community has experience with Gerlach watches? I would love to see a few of their line show here on Drop some day. I know they wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but they are unique in that I don't believe I have seen any Polish made watches here before. Completely surprised by the lack of blade diversity here on Drop...
I’ve been a collector of Blades since before my teens, and a retailer coming up on 15… or maybe 20 years. Drop has really been kind of an interesting experience for me, because I do occasionally get to see some unusual tech and sometimes EDC items that otherwise I might not have been aware of. And maybe it’s because I have a deep love of cutlery and bladed weapons, but I find myself trolling through the site looking at it what’s available; and it’s just it’s pretty much the same. And the bladed community here is just always confused me.. every single knife is about the same, they’re almost all drop points and although the handle materials change and brands change.. it’s really just the same knife over and over and over again... occasionally you’ll see a tanto or a slight variant; but rarely… and almost never a serrated blade. And I’m just deeply amazed at this diversion of serrated blades. And I’m just surprised there isn’t more of a request for diversity here.... and I...

Would be nice to see some Sony E mount full frame cameras on here. I currently shoot with a A99 and they killed the lense path for better or more option lenses and now is all E-Mount. 🤔
