Would massdrop be able to do a drop for manual benchtop milling machines?

more_vert
I'd really like to get a little milling machine of my own and would prefer a manual one over cnc but the prices are a little prohibitive so I was wondering if a benchtop milling machine would be reasonable with how much they cost and how much they weigh.

Hmm... This interests me. I wonder if Sherline would be interested in working with Massdrop...?

JDKelleySherline or Taig would be a nice option. I've got a Taig CNC mill and a manual Taig lathe. They're both solid machines. I've known people with Sherlines, and those are also solid machines.
Another option worth exploring would be to contact Little Machine Shop https://littlemachineshop.com, a distributor for SIEG machine tools. (SIEG is the manufacturer behind the benchtop tools from Micromark, Grizzly, Harbor Freight, etc.) LMS sells a lot of the associated tooling as well, so complete tool bundles might be an option.
I think this would be a great idea. Hand cranks!
