Ok guys, let's be serious...so....how infectious is your smile around the office? :D (Great smile)
Ok real question: assuming you don't own them, what has been your single favorite headphone listening experience? Also what was driving them?
EDIT: Thought of one more. If by "buyer" you mean you complete the deals for the products that appear in the Audiophile and Pro Audio sections, then what product/deal are you most proud of getting on here so far?

@MassEDU Wow, great questions! These merited a longer response from me--I had to sit on these for a few days to formulate responses. My favorite headphone listening experience was 'Have One On Me', Joanna Newsom's epic 2.5 hour long album released in 2010, which is fittingly pictured with prominence in the photo of records above. Her previous album was kind of my favorite thing ever made by a human, so it was the most I've ever anticipated an album release . As soon as the album was available, I went to a hill in San Jose overlooking the entire town with Denon D2000 headphone, a Go-Vibe V5 amp, an iPod classic, and a towel to sit on. I won't get too overwrought, but here's some superlatives of the experience: euphoric. mindblowing. outstanding. The sun finished setting behind Mount Umunhum right when the album finished; it was perfect. I think I listened to the album all the way through 4 more times that night before going to bed at 3 or 4AM.
I've also had similar listening sessions with 'MBV' by My Bloody Valentine, and 'The Black Messiah' by D'Angelo, two albums with that were 22 and 14 years removed from their prequels... Maybe I like torturing myself with artists who have long absences [more proof: one of my all time favorite albums is 'Smile' by The Beach Boys]. Anyways, I also made an event out of those two albums, much like the first experience I described. Finding the proper environment to take in really great works with my full attention can amplify these experiences exponentially and this applies to any medium. It's way more important than whatever audio equipment I might have, but quality sound is nice, of course :P.
Oh, and thanks for the compliment! I tried to have fun while I was having these photos taken of me.

As for your second question, yes! That's an accurate description of what my role is here, except that I recently moved off of the pro audio community to focus solely on audiophile. I'm especially happy about setting up drops for equipment that's of particularly high value. The Venture Electronics Monk Plus--a fantastic $5 earbud--is one that particularly stands out. I like that people can spend that amount of money and feel they're getting an accurate, pleasing representation of their music. I have a lot of friends who are very invested in their music listening, but would prefer not to throw down on expensive audio equipment. I hope everyone gets to have mindblowing experiences with music and art, like what I described in my previous comment. Maybe an inexpensive earbud, which is likely a huge improvement over stock device earbuds/IEMs, makes those times just a little more enjoyable. Also on this end, I think the Shozy Z:ero is a fantastic value at its price. I was happy to set that drop up for everyone.
In terms of just a 'wow this is super cool' drop, the Campfire Nova definitely fit the bill. People around our office were constantly asking to check it out. The Campfire folks have such high craftsmanship in their work.
Wow, I wrote very lengthy responses to your questions. Thanks for asking!

Wow right back! Very thoughtful responses. Pleasure to read, thanks. "Making an event" of your album/music listening is what makes all those experiences so unforgettable for you. You really seem to make it all about the music, as it should be for the most part. I definitely agree! Gotta find that quiet place to simply listen and enjoy. We all need to find our own Mt. Umunhum :)
Even if I didn't join it, I agree that the Monk drop was a cool one. Keep 'em coming: $5 earbuds, unique collabs and everything in between! Your drops will always have my attention, at the very least.

Can someone from customer support please reach out.
I purchased an R5 Saber edition, and the unit lasted about a week before it died on me. Someone named Haley said it would take a few days for her to reach out to someone to see if there are any troubleshooting tips. That was on Sept 18th, and I still have not gotten a response back. I sent another email asking for a refund because this is stressing me out that after spending $400 dollars no one from customer support is responding.

Just bought a Drop + THX 789 what's next?
I'm on a 500-600 budget and really want to upgrade. Right now I'm running an SHP-9500/Steelseries Pro Wireless. I just purchased the THX 789 and I'm looking to purchase a Dac+Headphone combo that would work well with the 789. Any recommendations in the 500-600 range? Thanks

I would love a custom Koss build for sale. PortaPro X headband, KSC75x drivers and black Yaxi earpads.
I know I can make this myself, but I would happily order a pair. Throw in MMCX connectors on the drivers, and who could say no to such an awesome creation?
