I have given away more sets of headphones then most people own. Most cost between $75- $700 (I could afford more expensive cans but there is no formula that says $=best sound). My overall favorites day to day usage are Still my OPPO Pm-3. At 32ohm they can be driven by most the lossless DAP players I use. The clarity just keeps getting better and a planar magnet array in a closed design keeps my music just that mine and not annoying others. It’s a shame OPPO left the American Market before they learned how to market to us. They should taken a page from the Bose. Biggest let downs are the Klipsch X20i ($549). My X10i still work fine ($349) because they have been well taken care of and the only difference in the two is X20i seem fuller in the mid range which is strange since they added a super tweeter. Note: This is my opinion only and I do not profess to be a professional, although my background in Audio is extensive.
