Are you able to switch key board cases?

more_vert
Hi guys! I'm new to this and don't really have any knowledge about any of this stuff so I have a couple questions I'd like to ask. Is it possible if I buy a keyboard to be able to switch the case of the keyboard? I really like how the wooden cases look and none of the keyboards I've found that I like have a wooden case. Also if you guys have any places that you like best for shopping for keyboards or key caps feel free to leave me a link so I can look there! Thank you all!

It really depends on the size and the mounting style of the keyboard. Most 60% tray mount keyboards like the pok3r are pretty much universal with other 60% tray mount cases that you find on sites like KBDfans. Unfortunately other size keyboards (40%,65%.75%,tkl, full size..etc) don't really have the same universal standards as the pok3r and as such may sometimes prove difficult in finding an aftermarket case.

Have you heard anything about the Ducky One 2 Mini? I found the dimensions just didn't know if you knew if the case is swappable.

BrattyI don't know if the Ducky One 2 Mini is compatible with other cases. Did some quick digging and I guess it uses standard Poker/GH60 mounting.
