Jacobalbertus1Hej man.. I'm gonna build in an IBM 5150 too. I haven't seen many people that did that. Can you give me some tips? Also do you maybe have some video or pictures of the inside of the computer?

Love this build. Only thing I can see it needs is maybe classicshell with win95 or winXP theme for Windows 10. Here's the link if ya want it. https://winaero.com/download.php?view.1884 Love the wallpaper, is there anyway you'd be willing to share? Also, you should read the article of the guy who figured out how to put SD cards in floppy discs so you can disguise some 128gb sdcards as floppy discs and they work! And he put it in an IBM Aptiva case, definitely reminds me of this build. I thought it was genius! Here's the link if anyone is interested. https://www.pcworld.com/article/3038787/sd-card-hack-breathes-new-life-into-this-old-floppy-drive.html

KiefofpoliceThanks for the great advices! I will definitely check classic shell! I found the wallpaper here: https://wallpaperplay.com/board/old-windows-wallpapers I don't know who to properly credit for this.

You need the 5.25 floppy then we're talking. My buddy had a setup where he could run bat files off of 5.25 he had written. No clue how. He had one where the password to use the computer was on the disk.

ASpathaIt is a really cool idea but I like to preserve the bottom slot empty and the ability to play blu rays

I'd paint the blu-ray drive beige to match the case. would make it even more of a sleeper

sopcannonYes, it is! I connected it through an adapter board that interfaces through internal USB port.

You need to mod an old VGA monitor to fit that flatscreen. So what's under the hood of that sleeper? Looks awesome. Other than 10 that screen takes me back a ways. xD

They’re running like $1k used. Market is messed up as usual.

Unfortunately I had to downgrade the graphics card to a gtx 1050 because the 1070 was producing too much heat and I couldn't find a way to dissipate all that without doing severe modifications to the case.
