I need to replace my Logitech G500 after over 10 years. Is there anything even close (originally paid less than $80). Kicking myself for not buying 5 at the time.

I've used roccat mouses most of my life and they are pretty reliable but you need the right mouse for what suits you

Logitech, Zowie and a newcomer Glorious seems to be my favourite. But i personally use the Zowie S2 because of the shape, my dream mice would be; Zowie S2 shape Model O weight&rgb (not joking, it looks beautiful) G Pro Wireless Buttons/Scroll Wheel Paracorded and has Ceramic Mice feet.

Logitech Mouse M500 corded. I love this mouse, but it needs to be more durable. They last me about 1,5 to 2 years. I'm shopping for my 4th one right now. I NEED the hyper-fast scrolling, 2 buttons on the side that ARE NOT straight under my thumb for when I pick up the mouse, I need the scroll wheel to go left and right (super-convenient in CAD, etc.), and I love its simplicity. Personally, I would just add a bit of a platform for resting my 2 smaller fingers on the right side of the mouse (right-handed) and it would be perfect. No batteries, no DPI changes, just a good mouse without any stupid gaming garbage. "You want speed-holes on your mouse? GTFO out here, idiot!"

Roccat and Mionix already appear here, and those are great choices as well.
