Slow/Pressure Cooker: Set It and Forget It Recipes
I'm fairly busy(lazy) and love things that I can just throw in a pot and then eat later, but for one reason or another just end up making refried beans every time.
I'm lookin for some tried and trues to try to mix it up so what's your go-to simple recipe?
... and it's incredible. So far in the past week I've made cumin-rubbed pork tenderloin, mac & cheese, southern smothered oxtail, and last night I made bacon & black bean soup (and I didn't soak the beans first).
I've also learned that you need to allow time for your pressure cooker to pressurize, and the difference between quick pressure release and natural pressure release (the hard way, because I was too impatient to read the actual instructions before using). There is so much info out there and so far I have leaned something new from each person I talk to who already has one. This is my first time using a pressure cooker.

I'm not a great cook by most counts, but I've always enjoyed watching cooking shows and documentaries. I want to see what other cooking shows/movies people here are watching!
Jiro Dreams of Sushi (http://www.magpictures.com/jirodreamsofsushi/) really stood out to me when I first saw it, and I've probably watched it 3-4 times after. I think what was so captivating to me was how Jiro has done the same thing his entire life. The dedication and skill are unquestionably astonishing, but I think what struck me even more was that in American culture it would be laughable to spend years learning how to make just rice, or decades perfecting what could be seen as simplistic cooking. It was just very refreshing to watch and remember that it is okay to dedicate your life to what you love, regardless of how big or small the rest of the world may see your dreams.

I just went from knife rolls to a cheap toolbox converted to a knife case, because i couldn't find any proper chefs cases that I liked enough to want to invest in them. I was wondering if this community knows any good and high quality knife cases?
