I think it'ld be amazing to see such collaboration for these headphones. Based on what I can tell from the reviews, the reason why these don't get any love is the pads, they're so shallow, cheap looking and (probably) not enough space for the ear. Z in his review there should be more distance between the ear and the driver and that it'ld be otherwise a great product. Massdrop would be perfect to smooth out the edges and make these headphones a legend. A lighter (than half kilo planars), budget planar with wood, sound any good? Price could be 150$, as MP often drops the price to that.

Would you buy a Drop version of HD600/HD60X?
So spill over from a Reddit thread, where it seems like just about everybody (even those that own HD6XX), would be very willing to buy a Drop version of HD600 / HD60X if it is same price as HD6XX. I joked, someone suggest this to Drop.com. Well, maybe I would do it myself. @CEE_TEE I'm looking at you now. Here's what the general summary: -HD600's tuning and sound signature is very well regarded and well reviewed. Reviewers such as Tyll back when he was with Inner fidelity spoke very highly of it and preferred it over HD650. There's a lot of people curious and would want to try HD600 at some point. -Current pricing of HD600 is what stopped most people from buying it. Even though a lot of people understand that they might have a preference for HD600 based on reviews, it didnt make economic sense to spend hundreds more on it when HD6XX is just much cheaper. -If price is competitive to HD6XX, many audiophiles who already own HD6XX voiced the opinion that they would still buy and try...

Canadian Massdrop.ca
I am tired of import taxes every time I participate in a drop. I don't mind paying the actual price of products in USD even with the Canadian dollar doing so bad. I was wondering if there is any chance of a Canadian branch ever opening up so drops can be mailed quicker and import taxes wouldn't apply. I know there are a lot of Canadian customers who would appreciate this as well. Something similar to what Amazon.ca does. *BTW Check out The Next Best Thing Studio on youtube. Do me a favor and support a fellow Canadian ;)* http://Youtube.com/nextbestthingstudio

Question for 58X owners..
Do any of y'all go ahead and buy the 6XX after buying the 58X just because you're interested in the differences in the sound? I just bought the 58X but after reading reviews on both, I find myself longing to hear the 6XX as well. Thoughts? Cheers!

Overwhelmed With Finding a Set of Headphones
Hello, I am somewhat new to the world of audio, but have always cared about having good sounding music and media. I am looking for a set of open back headphones primarily for gaming (first person shooters) but also want to be able to listen to music. I listen to a lot of styles from metal to jazz; so I’m looking for a well rounded sound. I don’t listen to hip-hip or electronic music much, so bass isn’t a huge concern for me. I have an old amp/receiver (STR-DH100) and use the 1/4” headphone jack. The amp then plugs into my computer. So my question is... What should I be looking at? I’m around the $200 price range but have wiggle room. I want a removable cable, open back, and comfort is important. I have ATH-m40’s and they kill my ears after long gaming seasons. So far the 6XX and 58X Jubilee look appealing. Also seen some people recommend the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Studio (but it lacks a removable cable) as well as the AKG 7XX. Any input would be incredibly helpful. Thanks in...

Any suggestions for wireless headsets to be worn during exercise that won't fall off
I am looking for wireless headphones with a microphone to be worn in the gym. My ears have an atypical inner ear structure and thus none of the so called IEMs that are 'guaranteed not to fall' work for me. I am looking at preferably bluetooth 5, a hook like design that keeps the buds in place and a microphone that will allow me to answer calls while I am working out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Budget is around USD 100.

Cheap, budget DAC for the Massdrop x HIFIMAN HE4XX?
As the FX Audio DAC(+amp) X6 sold out, it was well within my budget. Is the O2 AMP + SDAC DAC/AMP better than no DAC for $150? Also what are more budget DAC/AMP combos like this one, and more only-DAC combos like this one. (Cheaper)

Recessed 2 pin connectors
[image] As many of you are probably aware of, the 2 pin sockets on the KZ IEMs are different than those on the TFZ IEMs 🙄. The KZs are smaller and rounded, and the TFZ cables do fit on the KZs, but not great (not the vice versa). I’ve read that the recessed 2 pin cables by 3rd party makers, such as the Tripowin C8, fit the KZs. My question is, do any of you know of any recessed 2 pin cables that fit the TFZs? Or do I just need to use regular 2 pin cables, and let the connection remain exposed?

Over-ear closed back headphone for long flight $200?
Taking a long flight coming up at the end of the month. I am looking for an over-ear headphone that won't disturb who I am sitting next to. I am waiting on the arrival of my 6XX's but have read that they may disturb others sitting next to me. I wanted to start researching some options. Does anyone have a recommendation for around $200? I will be using a XdSd to power them/Dac.
