Headphones for Large ears
more_vert
Hey I’m a feeling with larger than normal ears sadly and I am looking for some Over Ear headphones that will literally fit over my entire ear. Inner diameter I’ve measured needs to be 3in high and wide. That will give me some wiggle room so my dumbo listeners won’t get crushed. Ive tried many sites trying to find a decent brand but most everything is widely expensive. I’m trying to keep a budget between 20 to 100$ atm. Any help is appreciated! -Pew!

You could add the Brainwavz XL pads to a AKG 240, Philips SHP9500 or Audio-Technica ATH-M40X for a wonderful experience. Check out E-bay for good prices on the headphones. With a little research they should be around $100.00

I have found that the AKG 7XX , Philips X2 and the Sennheiser HD600 are really comfortable for someone with larger ears. Otherwise you could acquire a pair of Brainwavz XL ear pads to retrofit headphones for an extremely comfortable experience

If you're willing to stretch your budget a bit, I find the Beyerdynamic DT series to have some truly large cups that seem to be able to fit most ears; however, I'm really not sure at that price point for circumaural cans. Sorry I can't be of more help there.
