Powering Mech Keys with a new iPad Pro

more_vert
Hi all,
Do you know if it's possible to use a mech keyboard with an iPad Pro? I tried plugging one in to an iPad Air and got the "device draws too much power" message. My understanding is that the new iPad Pros might not face the same issue.
Thanks.

I had the same problem with a Planck. It didn't actually need that much but the firmware had a higher number listed 500 ma I think? I changed that to 100 and re flashed the firmware and it works just fine now.

Don't know if that helps, but I can confirm that the non-backlit Pok3r works on both the iPad Air 1 and the 10.5" Pro.
