What Dslr to buy?

more_vert
Hello there,
lets get straight to the point. I want to buy an dslr but cant decide which one to buy. I had Nikon D3300 with 18-104mm lens, but unfortunately got scammed on internet when i tried to sell it. So now I want to buy an Dslr again and cant decide. I know how the basics works so I am also willing to buy other dslr rather then the beginner ones.
I love to take portraits and landscapes (street etc.) and sometimes videos. I was thinking of buying Canon t7i then i came across Canon 70d, Nikon D7200, Nikon d5500. And for lenses i was thinking of an prime lens like 50mm 1.8g and a zoom lens (like i had before 18-104mm).
Can anyone help me out? I love to hear from you and if anyone of you have better option then what i have listed please feel free to tell me.
One last question like in nikon there are different lenses for different camera formats (dx, fx) is it also the case for canon? ( Asking it because i never used canon before).

I've owned Canon's 50mm f/1.8 II and 50mm f/1.4 USM lenses. On an APS-C body, either one makes an excellent portrait lens, but switching back and forth with a zoom lens can get tedious. I currently have a Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM lens in my bag and love the versatility and speed. I only pull out the 50mm f/1.4 for special occasions now.
Canon full frame lenses are EF mount and they can be mounted on either full frame or APS-C bodies. Canon lenses intended only for APS-C bodies are designated EF-S. They have a rubberized piece that protrudes deeper into the mount than a normal EF lens to prevent mounting them on a full frame body. Third party APS-C lenses for Canon generally lack this protrusion, so they can be mounted on a full frame body, but with significant vignetting.

Nikon use the same mount between dx and fx lenses and they're interchangable. Cannon I believe not.
