Not sure the degree of portability you are looking for, but my go-to headphones that are light-weight, not too pricey are my KOSS PortaPro https://www.koss.com/headphones/on-ear-headphones/porta-pro I've had maybe 3 pairs of these my entire life and I was around for the first release. So the quality is great too. Cost ~ $45.

DiscordanianI had PortaPros, and found them to be quite leaky. In the office everyone could hear my music, and I got nothing in terms of sound isolation. Sound is pretty good for the price.
Currently in love with Senns HD-25-II, which have been my travelling phones for 4 years now. Better sounding headphones exist, for sure, but these are tough, light, and block noise on par with earplugs.

frig.neutronTrue. They are not 'closed' headphones. If you are in an office environment that doesn't run white-noise it might be disruptive for others. I don't listen to my music very loudly and while I'm sure others can vaguely hear sounds coming from them it wouldn't be much worse than the headsets we wear for phone calls at times.
For my use case these are a good value.
