Mech couch keyboard?

more_vert
Does anyone make a couch keyboard similar to the Logitech K830 but with mech keys? I'd love to find a TKL / 87-ish key keyboard with mech keys, illuminated, wireless, with an integrated pointing device. Track pad would be great, but I'd even settle for a Lenovo-ish pointer nubby. Does such a thing exist? I love my K830 in general, but it's tough to go from Cherry MX Browns at work to spongy membrane keys at home.

First world problems. Edit: I found the Ajazz Zero which I added to cart and came within a hair of checking out this evening. But after spending about two hours trying to download its v1.13 driver (required to use the nubby as a mouse, as I understand it) from Baidu without installing some BS spyware downloader, and after having a closer look at the lamentable key layout with its out-of-reach right shift key and dyslexic modifier keys, I decided to pass. So I'm about to admit defeat on the integrated pointing device. I'm considering pairing a TKL Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz illuminated mech keyboard with a Logitech Touch Lapdesk N600 for its wireless touchpad. If I do this, I'll have to go for low profile switches in order to fit the keyboard and lapdesk comfortably into the storage compartment of my home theater chair. Trouble is, there aren't yet a lot of options with low profile switches. (I'm avoiding Blue switches. I'd rather have linears or tactiles.) First world problems, right?

In case anyone cares, I ended up getting a Logitech N600 lap desk and a Royal Kludge Sink87G.

My first attempt at a Sink87g failed. I ordered direct from China through AliExpress. After the excruciating wait for steam boat shipping, I was disappointed to discover the keyboard was defective. While typing, the space bar stabilizer would hang more often than not. I thought maybe a week's worth of break-in might help, but the hanging space bar never improved. In order to avoid international shipping and begging the OEM for an RMA, I ordered an identical replacement keyboard from Amazon with Prime shipping, then returned my defective one from China to Amazon. The replacement works flawlessly. The space bar stabilizer no longer snags, the LEDs all illuminate in all colors, all key presses register with no accidental activations, and with daily use the battery lasts a full month between charges (chiefly using the ripple lighting mode). I'm pleased. In case anyone cares, you can read my Amazon reviews of the Royal Kludge Sink87g and the Logitech N600 lap desk. Ultimately, I'd prefer a TKL keyboard with integrated pointing device as a single unit, like the Ajazz Zero but with a usable right shift key and otherwise better key layout. The Logitech K830 or Corsair K83 would be perfect if either had red or low profile red switches. Until such a beast is created though, this RK Sink87g + Logitech N600 combo is an effective alternative.
