lnday11Do you, or anyone else here, know whether or not the date window on this changes dates with the 24 hour clock needle, ... or... with the 12 hour clock needle..?? I like to (I need to) keep a watch (or other time device) on a 24 hour clock for GMT all the time and need the date to change with it. All chronographic watches that I’ve found, change the date in sequence with the 12 hour clock & not with the hour needle designated for the 24 hour GMT clock. : / i frequeently cross the international date line, going in both directions, as well as other travel across multiple time zones at a time & am always filling out paperwork that needs dates & times. The international dateline is the one that tends to catch me writing the wrong date too often. If, this watch is capable of changing its date with the 24 hour needle, then that would mean a lot. To me at least. : ) Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Re-PhilA "chronograph" watch is simply one that has stopwatch/elapsed time functionality; nothing to do with GMT/multi-time zone tracking. With that out of the way, This Ball uses their RR1201C, which is a chronometer grade ETA 2893-2, with the GMT slaved to the 12hr hand. You should look at an Alpina Alpiner 4 GMT, with their AL 550 movement (a modified Sellita SW200 with an Alpina, inhouse GMT module stacked on it) . The date is "slaved" to the independent 24hr hand, rather than the 12 hour hand. The watch is discontinued, but can still be found through several online sources. I have one and it's a fantastic piece! I believe Rolex GMTs might offer similar functionality, but they are out of my price range (and thus out of my knowledge base, lol). Happy hunting.

watchmeThe problem is, it's discontinued so you're not going to get it on a drop. The stopped making them so the remaining pieces are scarce and have relatively high demand for them. Drops usually happen for things that sell slowly
