Mute Function on PC37X isn't working as intended
more_vert
I purchased the Sennheiser PC37X Gaming Headset for use on conference calls with my iPhone X. I love them, however, I learned recently through an awkward experience that the boom up mute function does not work on my headset as intended. Are others having a similar experience where moving the mic into a vertical position does not mute the headset?

I have the same issue, I hear a click but people in my discord calls have mentioned that they still can hear me sneeze, my birds chirp and any other loud sounds still come through when my mic is up.

I'm having the same issues. Were you able to resolve this with Sennheiser?

yes, I hear the click
The iphone will use the built in mic from the phone if it detects the attached device is not supporting mic input. Mute on the phone, don't use the boom lift. Edit: Don't own the X but this is how the older iPhones work, assuming they didn't change that specifically for the X/XS

Mine works well on my ps4. Does it make a click when you put the mic up?
