SynthfulI like them a lot but they're better suited for music reproduction and that's what I spec'd the build for. They are very punchy and clean and have decent extension. but not ideal for hometheater. If I had the same budget today I'd use an ultimax from dayton audio 15 or 12" better for hometheater and 10" or 8" for music. You might even save some money going Dayton ultimax. As for these they're 12" and in sealed 1.1-1.2 cubic foot braced enclosures with owens Corning 703 fiberglass board lining inside walls. They're passive and I use a crown xls 1500 to drive each one but a crown xls 1000 would probably be sufficient or 1 1500 for 2.
