Some recent acquisitions: Audeze LCD-2C, Aeon Flow Closed, Topping Stock, and couldn't resist trying the Monoprice Alex Cavalli Liquid Spark.
My wallet is spent, so it looks like I'll be taking a break on purchases for a while. The only thing I may grab the credit card for soon is the Monoprice/Cavalli Liquid Platinum or the Massdrop CTH if the amp-only version drops again. I've really been surprised by the Liquid Spark at $99.

MegazineI love the LCD-2Cs. Very warm sounding, mids and bass are amazing IMO. Many have noted the slightly recessed treble, which is accurate. But, it's a sound signature I really enjoy, and I'm a bit treble sensitive compared to average. I did get these for $640 new when Audeze had their sale on these through Amazon; not sure if I would have pulled the trigger at $799 retail.
I got the AFC for $500 new open box on eBay, and at first I did not like them at all. Coming form the LCD-2C and HD6XX, they sounded too lean and very bass light. However, after repeated listening, they serve as a good compliment to the LCD-2C. More treble, great accuracy, very neutral and you can get a bit more bass with the tuning foam inserts.
Comfort wise, it took a lot of time for me to get used to the LCD2-C's weight before it didn't bother me. I love the comfort of the AFC.
Both are great cans in my humble estimation. It really depends what you're looking for sound signature wise, if you are going to spend $800 and have to pick one.

Icculus514After having the spark for almost two weeks, I've come to prefer it to my Magni 2 Uber and the Topping A30. It has a slightly warmer presentation, and the treble is not as bright as the Magni2U. I prefer darker sounding headphones, so this amp paired well with my tastes. It does has less bass "slam" but that doesn't bother me that much.
I liked it enough to make me sell the Magni2U. I'm holding on the Topping A30 as a complement for now.
For $99, I think it's a great alternative to the Magni3, especially if you find the Magni3 too bright or harsh.
Considering my enjoyment of this amp, I may spring on the Monoprice Liquid Platinum when it's released. Then again, at $699, I'll likely wait to read reviews before taking the gamble there.

Icculus514I should note I've only tried the spark on my LCD-2C and AFC. I'll have to try it with my HD6XX soon, but I've been enjoying the LCD-2C too much to really swap cans out.

DalailalamaRight on. Thank for the input. I, like every third member of Massdrop, bought a pair of HD-6XX's. I've been looking at getting a new amp andthe Spark looked interesting. Wasn't sure about the synergy, however. If you get around to trying the Senns and the Spark, I'd greatly appreciate your feedback.
