When @erickong suggested that the Cooler Master Pro M was what I was looking for, I found out that that was called a 90% layout and went Googling and found the Plum 96 Laser Etched POM Mechanical Keyboard. I think that I like that one a lot more. I think the best option is the Red Scarf III Ver.A 96-Key Custom Keyboard Kit with the standard 6.25u with no arrow keys that was apparently already on Massdrop, but I really do not want to have to put it together. I also really think that the remote is just a stupid, wasteful, gimmick.

KenshinJennaI think the world would be perfect if I could find a JIS Layout set up identically to the Red Scarf III Ver.A 96 Custom Keyboard Kit with the standard 6.25u with no arrow keys layout. Obiviously, the spacebar would no longer be 6.25u, but I don't really care about the size of the spacebar as much as I care out the positioning of the keys as a whole.

erickongMy issue with the Kira 96 is that they've gone in and forced the arrow keys in there and messed up the position of the right CTRL key in the process. I make liberal use of the CTRL, ALT, and SUPER keys on a keyboard and I like to be able to to employ the use of them with one hand while handling the letters in shortcuts and emacs commands in the other hand. I want everything that is on the "main" portion to stay unf***ed with, except the context menu key which I usually find totally useless.
