Choosing the Right 65% Layout

Part of the beauty of mechanical keyboards is their variety. Even within the 65% category, there are tons of options, so choosing just one isn’t exactly a walk in the park. To make things easier, we’re looking back at our previous listings, and one layout in particular is rising steadily to our number-one spot. Created by avid community member (and our longtime friend) Matt3o, the layout we’ve selected has a distinct gap between the arrow cluster and the rest of the keys. This makes the arrows much easier to find without looking down—great for touch typing. And though compact, this layout still has a full set of numerals and four function keys on the right side.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
