Um, sorry this is not really resonating with me. It's like if Mass Effect was rebranded to just 'Effect'. Doesn't quite have the same ring, does it.

nironwell, the product launches were called drops... but the webpage/community/name for the whole thing was always massdrop

avaneeded It takes a little bit of time to get used to, but I'm sure you will. Rebranding is in fact a very common business move that companies have been doing for years. The average company will rebrand itself every seven to 10 years, for whatever the reason may or may not be. Snapchat rebranded to Snap, Wework rebranded to We, Google restructured the company and eventually rebranded to Alphabet. Rebranding is always a gamble, but at the same time, a good opportunity to refresh and to strengthen the core values of a business. Perhaps it’s simply because the times have moved on, and what was once a winning brand identity no longer speaks to its audience in the same way or manner that it used to in the past. And we should both admit that DROP.COM is a super cool domain name, right? :)
