I would just keep calling this site Massdrop, or MD. It's a brand name that many people would recognize, because you guys have been building this branding for years. Consider many products sold here have a Massdrop exclusive branding on them, namely audio products, etc. Could have changed the name prior to having those products. Changing a brand name just because the company focus have slightly changed is silly, imo. You don't see Facebook do that. This site still sell stuff that have a time limit to join for a slightly cheaper price, if any. That is still essentially groupbuy as we know it. If you guys have a poll for name change, most people would not support it. Lastly, "Massdrop" just sounds better than 1 word "drop".

mastershakeFacebook at least has the marketshare and clout to change their name like this and get away with it. Massdrop, however, is niche enough that something as generic as "Drop" isn't going to get traction—certainly not enough to boost their profile like they're hoping. There's no reason new customers would be confused by the "Mass-," and it would have helped the brand stand out and be more memorable.
