Would full-sized Arcade kits be something you think the average maker would be interested in seeing here?

Kris_KAbsolutely! I’ve seen a lot of individual components (Raspberry Pis, controller kits, monitors, small kits) drop, but I would love to see a full sized kit with room for customization. I haven’t done a ton of research on the topic because it still seems to be an esoteric DIY project that requires woodworking, electrical and computer skills which doesn’t leave me with confidence that I’d be able to finish the project well. If I had the materials and/or relatively straightforward plans, I’d be thrilled. Considering the seemingly widespread interest in similar “techy” offerings, I imagine that the Drop community would find interest in such a kit.

Kris_KI would probably start with a countertop "Barcade" or sit-down "Cocktail" cabinet and see what the interest is. I can't tell what's going on with the format and if we even have polls anymore, but I think the Bartop is probably the sweet-spot for an initial drop.

G-DeuceI have to agree, although how awesome would a full sized kit be?? I want to say that I’ve seen a bartop style kit come through once before, but I may be mistaken. A cocktail cabinet would be interesting, although it seems like games are much more limited to PacMan and simple “vs mode” games. Good to see Drop staff joining the conversation nonetheless.
