Does the PCB for the CTRL Keyboard miss the two holes to allow the switches to fit

more_vert
CTRL keyboard PCB missing holes for the switches to fit? I'm having to cut my Zealios V2 mechanical switches to make then fit. There is one large plastic knob in the middle underneath my switches, two plastic smaller knobs on the left and right side of the witch again and finally two copper probes in a standard shape for mechanical switches. Is the PCB not finished or are my switches just not compatible with this board ?

Yup, cut them off and they will fit fine. The hot swap sockets grab the pins fairly sturdily and help stabilize them while seated in the mount, rather well actually.
The CTRL is made for plate mounted switches, not PCB mount.

I think having PCB mount holes in the PCB would be a good feature.

how are you cutting them? I just noticed there are different type of mounting switches
Flush cutters, being exact with nail clippers
