Did I miss the drop?
Any chance stepped caps lock key support will make it to this round? Crossing my fingers.
rowieThe Tokyo60 plate will support stepped but keeping the layout fixed for hotswap on the pcb. The tokyo60 will also fit any other standard footprint 60% pcb. So if you see one you like just drop it in!
tokyocoffeenerdOh ok thanks. With round 1 I wasn’t sure if the built in plate would accommodate the stepped cap, but it sounds like the new version plate would have a better chance. Thanks 🙏🏼, excited to see what colors you chose for season 3.

Excited for this one @tokyocoffeenerd. I have the ink variant of the Season 2 drop, and it's quickly become my road warrior kb. My only real complaint was the lack of USB-C (which is why I opted for the 1UP Tsangan hotswap PCB), but I would much rather use the official Tokyo60 PCB in the future, as it is much higher quality and a better overall fit. Glad to see that it will be coming for drop 3! Any chance that Tokyo60 owners will be able to pick up the PCB by itself like the extras offered last time?

I’ve found the Tokyo60 to be a near perfect starter keyboard in the category of high end 60% custom keyboard kits. I got the space grey of Round 1 and quickly fell in love with it, having never used a 60% layout before. In Round 2, I acquired the additional plexi layer to take advantage of the board’s RGB LED features. Will Round 3 offer anything new for me, as en existing Tokyo60 user? I don the know. But I do know I’ll be more than happy to recommend it to any of my friends.
StariusWow! Thank you so much and really glad you’re enjoying the Tokyo60! For The next round we have some new colors, a slightly retooled case, and USB-C support on the PCB.
