On my wrist is my Glycine Combat Sub on a Vulture Tochigi leather strap. It was originally purchased as a beater watch for work but after throwing a leather strap, I quickly fell in love with it and made it my occasional weekend watch. I love how thin the case is and how accurate it is in telling time at 2 seconds fast per day.

What is that Tochigi strap, may I ask? Looks nice and thick, which maker is that from?

BobrazVulture is the company and Tochigi is the tannery from Japan that’s been around for over 80 years. It was a “dropping” here back in January 2018. Vulture has had other “droppings” here but not from Tochigi but the quality looks just as nice.

Great info. I have a local watchmaker whose bread and butter is working on ETA movements. Glad to know that I can take my watch to him if I ever come across any problems.
