I'm waiting on a KBDfans 72 switch tester that I ordered in mid April. I can see on the product discussion board that a couple of folks have received theirs in late June (I assume they are in the US). Based on the tracking number I was given EMS has been driving my package back and forth between their Shenzhen and Guangzhou sorting centers repeatedly, which is bizarre.

Is this normal? I can't imagine it's customary they give all their packages a farewell joyride before finally shipping them out. I'm starting to feel it might never turn up.

To the OP, anytime ordering from KBDFANS, always use rush shipping for the extra $12 or $13. I got my cases and switches in literally less than a week. Delivered straight to my door from FedEx. (And you can choose if you want them to just drop it off on the doorstep. Otherwise I believe they require signature. But anyways since I spent $175 with them I wasn't about to lose my package (not KBDFANS fault, just passed around so many times instead of thrown on a plane straight to the US. Well worth the small price of $12 rush shipping than to have to deal with a lost package in a country that you probably don't speak their language. But for what it's worth, sorry that Happened. But they have great customer service and they straight up told me that there was a high chance it could get lost if I chose free shipping. But I wasn't about to wait over a month anyways so that was a no Brainer.

KiefofpoliceGood call. Unfortunately I ordered the switch tester from Drop because they had options for an aluminium switch plate in several colors (the same switch tester sold by KBDfans comes only with an acrylic plate). Drop does not offer any alternatives when it comes to shipping and they went with bog standard China EMS which lately has been more miss than hit. Drop CS has copped out and provided a refund instead of contacting China EMS about my package. If they are unable to deal with this courier (language barrier or what not) then why are they even using them in the first place? I believe KBDfans are aware of the track record of China EMS. In their FAQ they state that they will only use FedEx or DHL for more expensive items and China Post/EMS for low cost items. They explicitly state they will not be held responsible for lost goods if shipped with the latter!

Eric, I need some help here. Support assumed it's lost in transit and has issued a refund. But for a brief moment I saw an alternate translation of the tracking information indicating it's being rejected for forwarding due to some security issue (doesn't say why). I think the package may be improperly labelled. Is there anyway support can get a hold of China EMS to figure out what's gone wrong? Or do I have to take this up with KBDfans?
Have you tried reaching out to customer service?

erickongThanks, I tried it. The descriptions are slightly different, but essentially the same. Keywords like "airport" and the destination country are present, but the package hasn't left China and is still pin balling between the sorting centers. Will wait another 2 weeks before contacting support again but it just seems neither sorting center know what to do with it hence it getting passed back and forth.
