Yes, the different components of the headphones can be replaced; e.g. cable, earpads, headband, earcups, just about every part

Sennheiser has ALWAYS been outstanding in making spare parts available for repair, even for its long-discontinued models. It's the main reason WHY I always choose Sennheiser first. Other brands may sometimes sound better, but I get really annoyed about their lack of parts availability, which necessitates junking a nice pair of headphones. AKG has really poor repair and parts service, so I will NEVER buy another AKG product again.

Yes. You can replace the part. I believe the diyaudio.com has the instructions

Yes, mostly it can be done by hand without any tools.

Yes. A small Philips head suffices to fully disasemble the cans. Edit: the soft pads comes off by hands.
