yes I have a kind of complicated setup on my Red Scarf II: Alphas: Cherry MX White Modifiers (not including FNs): Cherry MX Green FNs: Cherry MX Gray (Linear) Arrows: Cherry MX Clear Macros on the left side: Cherry MX Gray (Tactile) Rationale: I liked Cherry MX White's feeling for its clicky but slightly softer pressure than Green, hence alphas are MX White Modifiers are less used than alphas, hence green (didn't want to used a very different switch, that would be too inconsistent) FNs are linear to keep them easy to be identified (I have a splited LShift: [1.25 shift][1 fn]) and easy to press I use Vim's keymapping for the most of typing / coding, the arrow keys I used most are hjkl, the real arrow keys are mostly used for gaming, hence a completely different from others Similar reason for macro keys, and I just had 10 Tactile Grays left, lol

yes, 100%. I always use tactile or clicky switches for alphas and I use linear (speed usually) switches for the modifiers.
